ESTEFANI CASTRO is a creative producer for the performing arts and film with over a decade of strategic excellence in developing and presenting multidisciplinary forms of storytelling. Her mission is to activate the soft power of both stage and screen to examine, expand, and explode our perceptions of the world around us. 

 

Collaborating with a range of artists, from emerging talents to established luminaries, Estefani curates and orchestrates experiences as catalysts for critical engagement with contemporary issues. Her dynamic body of work, spanning classic texts, modern adaptations, musicals, performance art, and more, reflects her dedication to pushing artistic boundaries and exploring the limitless potential of the creative process.

 

Estefani is renowned for her ability to articulate values and translate them into action, embodying a commitment to authenticity and transparency. Her leadership extends beyond traditional hierarchies, fostering genuine resonance across diverse landscapes and inspiring community. She holds a deep belief in the transformative power of the performing arts to create ripples of empathy within our social fabric to nurture collective healing, belonging, and liberation.

She recently served as a consulting producer on two Ruben Islas feature films, Atypical Pirate and Final Vow. She has also produced work at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Yale Repertory Theatre, Yale Cabaret, Yale Schwarzman Center, Baltimore Center Stage, and UCR ARTS. She holds an MFA in Theater Management from the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University and a BA in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of California, Riverside.
